An important reason for community profiling is the need for council to know their community. This knowledge of the community is an essential tool for providing better services. With an increasingly diverse population, council’s competency to recognise and manage diversity within its community becomes vital.
 
This course analyses the community’s cultural profile and focuses on aspects of a specific target culture.
